Forest at Night - in progress

This is one of the oil paintings I’ve been working on recently. I often get stuck on one piece for some time. Days or weeks go by while I visit the numerous paintings I’m working on. In addition, I have spent a lot of time trying to educate myself in the mysterious machinations of the social platforms like Instagram. I’m not a luddite per se, I’m just kind of antiquated and unfamiliar with the latest offerings of the cloud based community. This particular painting adheres fairly closely to the original thumbnail sketch that’s responsible for its inception, but that could still change.
