Dia de los Muertos Linocut

This is a linocut print I made for the Day of the Dead, about a month late. Not much to say about it. I made a lot of prints about 20 years ago. I was looking at some of my expired blocks and got to feeling nostalgic, so I made a simple linocut and ran a few prints. I like the rough sketchy quality. It kind of reminds me of the German expressionist prints of Emil Nolde or Max Pechstein. I think I’m going to have to take it up again next year.
